Four Western Carolina women's track & field athletes as well as the entire WCU women's track & field team has been recognized by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their accomplishments in the classroom this season. Senior Michaela Birek, sophomore Chenell Bryan, junior Tayla Carter and sophomore Hailey Cook were all named 2015 USTFCCCA All-Academic Individuals while the team was honored as a 2015 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
