Western Carolina track & field student-athletes Henry Kiedy and Tayla Carter earned the Southern Conference’s Outdoor Men’s and Women’s Track Athletes of the Week, respectively, for their performances at the Beynon Sports Surface Catamount Classic. With the women’s award, Carter becomes just the 11th SoCon outdoor track athlete to earn three awards during their career and the third Catamount all-time since the conference began handing out the award in 2003.
