The Western Carolina men's and women's cross country teams both finished second Friday evening at the Mountains to Sea Duals hosted by Appalachian State University. The Catamounts finished ahead of ACC member Miami as well as CAA member and sister institution UNC Wilmington. Sophomore Kaitlyn Lingard was WCU's top individual finisher as she placed fifth in the women's 5K race.
